Msia Cup : Sabah to meet Selangor

Sabah scraped through to the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup by being one of the 2 best third-placed team in the overall group standings. This came at the back of Sabah's 4-3 win over PDRM on Saturday night at the Selayang Stadium.

The Rhinos now need to overcome the red giant in a 2-legged match to proceed to the semi-finals.

The 1st leg will be held at Selangor on the 9th of June while the return leg will be on the 16th of June 2007 in Likas.

Sabah however need to focus on the other cup competition, which is the FA Cup. They are meeting with Perlis on Tuesday night (29th May) for the quarter-final 2nd leg game where the host holds the advantage after forcing 2-goals in the dying minutes of the game in Likas to force a 2-2 scoreline.

A 0-0 or 1-1 result will see Perlis through so Sabah needs to win this match or at least get a draw better than 1-1 to have any chance of progressing.
