Sabah couldn't use its home ground advantage to take three points off the league leaders KL Plus FC last night. Both teams fought out a 2-2 draw but the visitor nearly had their revenge for their home loss in January when they took a deserved 2-1 lead with 10 minutes left to go.
However just as the silenced fans in Likas stadium thought it was all over, Dragic Dalibor headed the ball in after it was played back to the front of the goal mouth off a hastily cleared corner just three minutes after KL Plus took the lead.
In the first half Sabah took an early lead from local striker Sylvester Sindih but the visitors towering import Alex Agbo equalised a minute before the break.
The shared points is not giving both teams any advantage, Sabah is still off the leader by 10 points with a game in hand. For KL Plus, their lead is cut to 4 points after Kuala Muda NAZA won its match on the same night.
Kuala Muda NAZA will be Sabah's next opponent whom the Rhino is trailing by 6 points. It will be played on the 4th of April 2008.
