Sabah brings home slight advantage in FA Cup

The FA Cup first round kicked off last Saturday night with Sabah visiting fellow Premier League outfit Kuala Lumpur. Sabah which won the FA Cup only once in 1995 managed to keep the tie level with a 1-1 draw and have a 2nd leg home-tie tomorrow night to look forward to.

The team should’ve brought a 1-goal advantage to Likas but probably a lapse in concentration in the 89th minute allowed the home team to equalize through Azwan Malek.

Sabah took the lead through Azrul Ejati in the 46th minute.

Both teams will play the second round tomorrow night at Likas Stadium, starting at 8:15pm.
