Felda United Stumble Against Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 (Bernama) — The Premier League’s runaway leaders Felda United stumbled Monday night when they only managed a scoreless draw against visitors Sabah at the Kuala Lumpur Stadium in Cheras here.

The result left them still at 35 points after 14 matches played but a good eight points ahead of nearest rivals Selangor PKNS.

Selangor PKNS grabbed the second spot in the table when they defeated MP Muar 2-0 at the Petaling Jaya City Stadium in Kelana Jaya near here.


The hosts’ goals were supplied by Mohd Zamri Hassan and Fitri Omar in the 50th and 55th minutes respectively.

In KUANTAN, hosts Shahzan Muda failed to capitalise on home ground advantage and went down 1-2 to Melaka.

Shahzan Muda took the lead through Mohd Fauzi Abd Kadar in the 9th minute only to see Melaka replying through Mohd Hazeman Ab. Karim in the 52th minute before the striker clinched the winning goal through a 58th minute penalty.

Elsewhere, Police lost by the same margin to Sarawak at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi while Harimau Muda played to a 4-4 draw with Armed Forces a the Hang Tuah Stadium in Melaka.

    bha ngam lha,,,sabah mnang suda..2-0 lwn pnks selangor…lawa lha…ini yg bikin peminat sbah kmbali rancak pg stadium likas…ahaha
