MP Muar 1 – 1 Sabah

Sabah failed to capitalise on their extra game in hand when they could only get a 1-1 draw against 10th place MP Muar in last night’s game. With the single point, they couldn’t even past second-placed PKNS who have a better goal difference as both teams are now tied on 39 points.

The only positive is that Sabah maintain their unbeaten run to 11-games. There are no match reports from last night’s game available yet.

The team will now take more than a 5-week break and their next game will be a home tie with neighbours Sarawak on the 9th of July 2010. Due to the Kaamatan festival, the team will not be playing on 31st May while the rest of the team will play one more game before they go on the break.

Hopefully Sabah will not lose its momentum during their break and will come back stronger and ready to take the Premier League title.

For us fans, we can focus on the world cup for now! Who are you supporting? 🙂

what a derailed from our clear route to the champion of the league !!!
I really can’t imagine we can draw with the 2nd from bottom team given
that they were soundly beaten by USM FC at their homeground 4-0 last night.
It is a 2 points lost instead of a point gained, I feel it has upset our chances drastically, if you look at the current table, the goal average itself is also not favouring Sabah.
We just hope the coming Felda Utd vs PKNS match will end at a draw game, any team taking the 3 points will be hard for Sabah as we will have 2 tough matches to come against Sarawak & Pos Malaysia.
All the best Sabah…..Sabah Boleh !!!!!
