Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FA is issuing a soft warning to all football fans to not bring anything inappropriate to the stands when turning up for Sabah home matches this season.
Its Secretary General, Alijus Sipil said the FA would not want any untoward incident involving the fans in any of the team’s home matches, especially not in tonight’s game, which is Sabah first home match since rejoining the M-League’s top flight.
“Now that we have finally made it back to the top of M-League action, we hope to see more fans turning up at the stands. The matches will be more competitive compared to the Premier League fixtures, so I can understand if the fans get excited.
“But we do not want to see any untoward incident involving the supporters.
We hope they would be behave like decent fans and not do or bring anything inappropriate to the stands, which could incriminate them of charges they may face later on,” said Alijus.
He said this when met at the Sabah FA office here, yesterday.
On ticket sales for home matches, Alijus said the prices are RM10 for uncovered seats and RM15 for Grand Stand seats.
“There are also Season Tickets which are on sale for RM500.
Purchases of season tickets will include a free T-shirt and parking sticker too,” he said.
Alijus also reminded fans to enter the stadium according to their ticket categories to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
He said for any assistance, fans could approach any of the FA’s representatives who would be around the stadium.
