Perak 2 vs 1 Sabah

Sabah suffered its first defeat in the Malaysia Cup when they went down 2-1 at the hands of Perak. All goals were scored in the first half and midway through the second half, Perak was down to 10-man and it sparked a fight back from the Sabah camp.

Sabah however cannot find the equalising goal and Perak breathed a sigh of relief at the final whistle.

However there was a slightly better news when Kedah could only get a single point in their game against bottom team Johor, with the score at 1-1.

The following is the current table standing in Group A with 2 more games to go for each team.

As I have said many times, the one and only weakness of our Sabah team is our strikers were unable to put away those goal scoring chances that came their way. The goalkeeper, defenders and midfielders were all playing exceptionally well.In addition, I feel Sabah was robbed off a point by the Referee as the penalty conceded was clearly not a penalty as there was no contact or even so, it was only a very minor contact, the Referee gave a very, very soft penalty to Perak.

Buduh punya referee. masa 1st half ada player perak tackle pemain sabah dari belakang dengan dua kaki. tapi referee iran tu bagi kad kuning saja. second half, the very same player sekali lagi buat dangerous tackle dengan dua kaki. i think FAM is very stupid to allow this trainee referee from Iran to undergo practical here in malaysia cup. bangau betul. and then, out of no where dia bagi penalty padahal no body contact AT ALL. the comentator even said it wrong, IN FACT there was NO body contact AT ALL. not even minimal body contact. walau macamanapun, no kredit to sabah, main 11 lawan 10 pun tiada urgency.
