PKNS 2 vs 2 Sabah

Sabah produced a stunning fightback to claim a point after trailing 2-0 in the away game last night. PKNS opened the scoring in the 43rd minute through a freekick and added a second one 7 minutes into the second half.

Baird then scored a goal in the 73rd minute off a cross from Shahruddin to cut the lead.

Both players then exchanged role as Baird crossed for Shahruddin in the 81st minute and his header produced an own goal to bring Sabah level at 2-2 until full time.

Though it was commendable that Sabah saved themselves from defeat they should really defend better in a deadball situation.

Next match 7th Feb 2012 against Kelantan at home.

nothing wrong with their stamina, but their passing was horrible! gameplan durang pun mcm tiada taktik, main kampung urg bilang. setpiece berterabur, longball slalu inda menjadi. mungkin pasal padang juga kot, tapi tu bukan alasan.
ada klip pendek di youtube/astroarena. si rajagopal pun ada, mungkin pi assess si brendan gan.

Based on recent results, Sabah are in dire needs to find good strikers
to win matches, as I have written before, if you can’t score, the best result in a match is a 0 – 0 draw. The defence & midfileld are doing OK, improve in the attacking area and we will resolve our problem.
